The MAC Attack

Normally, I’m a Sephora brands kinda girl, but I’m experimenting with MAC. Santa must have thought I’ve been a good girl this year because I was gifted with their Eyeshadow x15 Cool Neutral Palette (thank you to my cousin Anna- I appreciate it so much)! I’m excited about this one because I would never actually buy it for myself – I don’t normally shop at MAC and I also tend to purchase warmer colors. This is a really beautiful palette and the colors deliver a lot of payoff. See colors below.

I would tell you which ones I used for today, but I think I got crazy and used a little of everything in my excitement.

It’s always surprising to me how subtle make up ends up looking on camera. The shadow looks quite dark and dramatic in real life, but it never translates that way in frame. I did a smoky eye with a strong contour and a berry/mauve matte lip for today’s look – definitely more a nighttime than daytime for me.

Also, I started pushing my hair in the opposite direction that it usually lays and it is revamping the whole pixie. Still #noregrets at all.

Hope you have an amazing New Year and I’ll see you in 2016!

xoxo
