Theme of the day is feminine and minimal. Some days it’s fun to go all out and wear a bunch of make up; other days, I want to let my skin breathe a bit yet still feel put together. On days like this, I stick to the essentials.
I slap on a sheer tinted moisturizer for SPF coverage and some color correction. Then, I use 2-in-1 product, a cream blush and lip color. I’ve noticed that when the cheeks and lips match in hue, it looks a bit more natural. For eyes, I’ve applied a black liner along my upper water line, and some mascara as well. For very natural brows, I apply a brown eye shadow powder, not a pencil, which fills in my weird bald spots.
Final touch is some illuminating powder to give off a soft glow.
You can’t really tell from the photos, but my hair was so gross because I didn’t want to wash it as I was going to a barbecue that day, and knew it would end up gross again even if I did wash it. To counteract, I have two ‘french twists’ going along each side of my head, meeting in a ponytail together in the back. This is a really easy hair do, and never fails to give off a ladylike elegance.
Also, I have gotten questions about my earrings, which are interesting because they loop around the back. Apparently, these are called ‘ear jackets’! I got mine at Stella and Dot!
I hope you have a wonderful week ahead of you!
